POTENTIAL TO BECOME ANOTHER

Potential to Become Another is a series documenting the evidence that shows that we were here and the trails we leave behind. The figure in these photos represents nature; a women chosen to represent the purity of humanity, versus the remains of man-made waste. The vulnerable female form in this environment yields to fears that she, too, will be come junk, left behind, forgotten about, neglected. But there is hope for these “projects”, as this "junk" is not intended to express negativity, rather, a reality of the waste we've created, and its place in nature over time. This project was very personal for me, some of the images are self portraits and photographed in a place I called home. All images are Silver Gelatin prints, the warmer toned images are lith prints, Kodalith developer was used in printing (Not all images available as lith prints, please inquire).
