SEE YOU, SEE ME
See you, See Me explores the relationship between human and nature, captured moments in time and place and the purity of the female form. This project is a self reflection of my life and a celebration of femininity. The series includes limited edition silver gelatin prints shot on Polaroid type 55.
Why nudes? I like exploring the landscape of the human body in its natural state. The curves and lines seen in the mountains and the sea are also found in the human form.
With influences from the greats before me such as Ruth Bernhard, Wynn Bullock and Edward Weston I naturally fell into this subject matter and absorb inspirations from them and the beautiful Monterey Peninsula I call home.
